How Will My Order Ship?
When shipping your order, we use one of three different shipping methods: Ground Shipping, Back of Truck, or White Glove shipping services, we only use the best delivery companies in the USA. For certain items, more than one service may be available for you to choose from. Please note that there may be price differences if you choose to upgrade a shipping service. Bunkbedbuy.com is a drop-ship company, and as such different items you purchase may be shipped from different locations. Your items may arrive on different days and with different shipping methods if you purchase items from multiple brands or if you place more than one order at once. Smaller products will be shipped with regular ground shipping (USPS, FedEx or UPS). The estimated delivery time will be approximately 5 -7 business days from the time of order. (Not including pre-ship time) for any destination in the United States. Delivery times will depend on the local delivery schedule of the carrier, and it may not be possible to make an appointment. Generally, ground delivery is available Monday to Saturday 9am to 8pm. A signature is not typically required: if the customer is not at home to accept delivery, the product will be left if it is safe to do so. If a signature is required the product will not be left at the address. Please note that if you purchase multiple Ground Shipping items, they may be shipped via Truck Freight instead at the discretion of the manufacturer.
The price listed on the product information screen you ordered is the price you will pay. Shipping is FREE unless otherwise stated or you have requested additional delivery services. White Glove Shipping Services
White Glove Shipping includes various levels of inside delivery, unpacking and assembly of your order, depending on the service level selected. Please see below for full descriptions of each service level. White Glove Shipping is comparable to truck freight shipping, but due to the extra time and person power needed to take care of your order, the shipping time may be anywhere between 5 and 10 business days until the carrier contacts you for delivery. Delivery appointments usually consist of a four (4) hour appointment window; depending on your location the carrier may be in your area every day, 2-4 times a week, or once every two weeks. Please note that if you are not available for a delivery appointment or the carrier cannot contact you, the order will be held for you for several days. After this time, the order will be returned to the manufacturer for credit under our Return Policy.
White Glove FREE Shipping
White Glove FREE Shipping delivery consists of delivery to the threshold of your home (garage, front entrance etc.) or first dry area if the shipment weight is very large. In an apartment or condo building, the product will be carried up a maximum of two (2) flights of stairs (25 steps*). The product will be kept in its original packaging, and there is no assembly provided with this service. The shipping company will call you in advance to schedule a delivery appointment window, and you must be at home to receive the order.
White Glove Inside Delivery
White Glove Inside Delivery is made inside your residence to the room of your choice (includes carrying the product up two (2) flights of stairs from the threshold*). The product will be kept in its original packaging, and there is no assembly provided with this service. The shipping company will call you in advance to schedule a delivery appointment window, and you must be at home to receive the order.
White Glove Platinum Full Service Set up!
White Glove Platinum Full service set-up is the highest level of home assembly service. Delivery inside your residence to the room of your choice (includes carrying the product up two (2) flights of stairs from the threshold*). The carrier will unpack the product and remove the packaging for you. They will also provide 30 minutes of light setup that requires basic tools (e.g. pieces will be screwed or bolted together, set next to each other or on top of each other). The shipping company will call you in advance to schedule a delivery appointment window, and you must be at home to receive the order.
*The carrier is not responsible for connecting electrical components that may be placed on or inside the item. If your order will need to be carried up more than 25 steps, or you require longer assembly or setup time please contact us. These services are often available but there will be additional charges.
When Will My Order Arrive?
Each product on our websites has a pre-ship processing time, which is the number of business days it will take for your order to be processed and prepared for shipment from the warehouse or distribution center. Because our products are from manufacturers from all over North America, the pre-ship processing time will vary according to the individual manufacturer’s policies and general practices. For example, some warehouses will stock items that can be shipped within 24 hours, while other distribution centers might require 5 to 10 days. To give you an idea of when it will leave the warehouse, check the “Pre-Ship Processing Time” listed on the product information screen of the item you ordered. Actual delivery of your order will then take the following additional amount of time to arrive depending on how your package is being shipped.
For white glove freight shipments: Since extra steps are taken to ensure that your order is delivered in tiptop condition, delivery will take from 1 to 3 weeks, not including the pre-ship processing time it takes for it to leave the warehouse or distribution center. Even though your order is handled as carefully as possible throughout transit, we still require that each white glove order is inspected at the delivery agent before it is delivered to your door. You will be contacted by a delivery clerk to arrange a delivery time. Allow for a 2- to 5-hour block of time, Monday through Friday regular business hours; Saturday deliveries are made by special arrangement and are not always possible.
